Anodic oxidizing – also known as “anodising” – is an electrolytic process by which an artificial oxide layer is produced on the aluminium surface.

The coating is approx. 0.02 mm thick, is harder than glass and inseparable from the metal. Its resistance to atmospheric influences, to mechanical loads, to organic solvents and to most chemicals is tremendous. As it is transparent, the metallic character of the basic metal remains unchanged. The colours are firmly anchored and protected in this coating.

Printing

Anodised aluminium can be printed using both screen printing and digital printing. We recommend screen printing for larger and mid-sized batches, and digital printing for individual pieces.

Colour range (DYNACOLOR)

The used colours stand out due a high level of brilliance, colour intensity and consistency. Since the fine pored surface of anodized aluminium allows a very precise rendition od printing details even colour fotos can be produced effortlessly. Besides, an application of different shades of colours and grids allows remarkable colour effects. For outdoor labelling we especially suggest Red B, Blue D, Green D and Black.

Since 1959 we produce colours with which we print in the eloxal layer of aluminium. By doing that we developed high-quality products that we provide to you. We offer a high range of colours. You receive them print-ready – thereby the copious thinning is omitted. But not only the range and simplicity but above all the quality is important to us: That’s why the colours are proved for fastness to weathering and light by the federal material proving institute.
